Melton City Council governs the City of Melton, Australia’s fastest-growing municipality, with a population that grew by 11,642 people in 2022. With a vision for an economically and environmentally sustainable future, the council is committed to creating a desirable place for people to live, work, and raise families. Significant projects such as the new Melton Hospital, upgrades to the Melton train line, new schools and a TAFE institution, and the Western Intermodal Freight Terminal are underway, supported by the Australian and Victorian governments.
