We have been using the ESRI ArcGIS suite of geospatial software for a long time at Spatial Vision. Formerly the 2001 ESRI AU Business Partner of the Year and the 2002 ESRI Worldwide New Partner of the Year, we have 18 years plus professional experience performing spatial analysis, creating map products and implementing enterprise spatial environments using ESRI software.

Mapping Applications

At Spatial Vision, for years we have used ArcMap, and more recently ArcGIS Pro, combined with ArcCatalog and the Arc SDE data store as components of our primary GIS environment. Not to mention the Arcpy Python API to help us produce programmatic, repeatable workflows. We use this environment to undertake our spatial data science and produce our beautiful maps. Mapscape, and the Vicmap Books are all products produced using this technology.

Geoff is responsible for the delivery of customised spatial analysis and mapping solutions and products, including Spatial Vision’s Vicmap Book and digital equivalent, Mapscape, which are widely used by emergency services.

A certified GIS Professional with over 15 years of experience, Geoff has extensive experience in the management of multi-disciplinary project teams and the design and production of spatial analytics and mapping across a broad range of areas and themes.

Ian Miller has been working in the spatial information technology area for more than twenty years—planning, designing and building systems which seamlessly integrate spatial and textual information.
