Spatial Vision Wins Environmental & Sustainability and Export Awards at APSEA VIC

On Thursday 29th August, Spatial Vision attended the annual Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) Victoria held at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club.

With high hopes and and higher spirits, we ventured out into the Melbourne winter, catching the sunset along the way.

Cathy Crooks, Investment Specialist at Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions led the ceremony as we recognised some excellent work in the spatial industry.

To our delight, we won the Environment & Sustainability category with our Embedding Climate Adaptation in Agriculture project with the North East Catchment Management Authority. We also took home the Export category award with our Geospatial Industry Strategy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia General Commission for Surveying.

Our friends and long-term partners from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) also won a number of awards on the night. Spatial Vision was acknowledged for our contribution to the department’s winning projects, Vicmap Viewer (People and Community category) and Victoria Unearthed (Spatial Enablement category).

Congratulations to all nominees and winners. See you next year!
