Currently, less than 4 per cent of parcels in Vicmap Property urban and peri-urban areas meet the high spatial accuracy requirements of users. These areas make up 70 per cent of Victoria’s land property parcels.
The DCM project will bring the authoritative map of Victoria’s property boundaries into the digital age, ensuring that one of the state’s most important datasets is accurate, modern and easily accessible.

Our team needs your surveying and cadastral skills in undertaking this adjustment to all land parcels across the State to create an improved cadastre.

–Zoltan Goblos, DCM Adjustment Team Leader
As a Cadastral Adjustment Technician, you’ll use original survey information to analyse and adjust land parcel boundaries across Victoria. You’re a problem solver who enjoys independent work as much as team collaboration.
You’ll join a dynamic and diverse team of surveying and spatial experts with opportunities to develop professionally, learn new skills and celebrate your achievements along the way.
This position is 100% office based – all applicants must have a suitable remote working environment to support our hybrid workplace.

Stephen has over 40 years experience bringing understanding of surveying to other disciplines. Out of the office he enjoys walking, making things with his hands and watching motor sport and rugby.
Cameron is passionate about cadastral surveying and enjoys utilising his surveying skills. Out of the office you'll find him on a push bike, in the ocean or enjoying the great outdoors.
Ian focuses on how we can harnesses the latest technologies to deliver great solutions. Ian loves to travel and is currently learning Spanish to travel to South America.
Steve has been applying spatial technology to pressing environmental and natural resource management challenges for over 30 years. Outside the office you can find him exploring nature on bicycle, or by foot, or spending time at the Queen Vic market with friends.
Amanda is enthusiastic about surveying and cadastral work. Beyond the office, you'll find her in her backyard veggie patch, if not playing the Borderlands series with the family.
William loves working with spatial data and problem solving and has always been fascinated by all kinds of maps. When not at work, you can find him hiking up a mountain, taking photos, or watching live music.
Zoltan is passionate about the land surveying and leadership. Outside of work, he loves playing computer games, and browsing the net for new ideas to implement at work.
Dave is passionate about GIS and mapping, and harnesses his expertise within the DCM project team. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family (at home or at our local park or creek!) and coordinating activities for the national blind football (soccer) program.
Jeremy is passionate about creatively using data to help businesses add value to their processes. In his spare time he loves to sketch, read and keeps fit with regular running.
Nicholas is passionate about problem-solving for and contributing to the DCM project. Over summer he can be found behind a boat waterskiing.
Ryanne is a survey and spatial professional dedicated to working with clients in delivering projects to a high standard. In between busy family life, she enjoys reading, gardening and baking.
Jervis is enthusiastic about spatial data management and survey network adjustments. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new places, photography, and making homemade cold brews.
Krystal is excited by all things spatial, GIS and surveying. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, Zumba, and weight training.
