Spatial Vision on the double at Victorian APSEA Awards
The Victorian APSEA Awards is always a great night and even better when you take home an award – or two!
Congratulations to our Digital Cadastre Modernisation team (and partner organisations Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, Reeds Consulting, DSM SOFT, Jacobs & Collier Geodetic Solutions) for well earned recognition in taking out the Award for Technical Excellence. The scale of work and expertise required to digitise and adjust over 3.3 million Victorian land parcels cannot be understated.
Another huge congrats to our Spatial Services team (and project partner E2Designlab) who won the Award for Innovation for their Surface Permeability Analysis of Elster Creek Catchment – a timely initiative given recent weather events.
Held at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park, the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) celebrate the achievements of top spatial information enterprises and individuals and showcase the finest projects and most significant performance of professionals that the Surveying and Spatial Industry have to offer. Projects and individuals attaining recognition at this premier event are deemed to be truly outstanding achievers and pre-eminent in their field.
Preceding the APSEA Awards, the SSSI Summit showcased a range of cutting edge projects from the spatial industry. Spatial Vision was well represented by Zoltan Goblos and Cameron Hamilton who wowed the audience with their presentation on the Digital Cadastre Modernisation.
Well done to all winners and those who nominated projects that further the spatial industry and make a positive difference.
