Spatial Vision wins Geospatial Council of Australia award

Environmental-Economic Accounts, known as EEA, is a system of accounts that provides information on the interrelationships between the environment and the economy. The EEA Dashboard is an innovative website that presents land and ocean accounts published by the ABS in a highly engaging and interactive set of maps, tables and charts, unlocking the account data for much wider policy and planning use.

The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) engaged ThinkPlace and Spatial Vision (Lapis) to design and develop the EEA Dashboard and create the foundations for a powerful information asset to be developed over time. Spatial Vision led the technical and data design and undertook the development of the web application including its hosting and management.

Last night at the Geospatial Council of Australia Awards in Melbourne the project was recognised as the winning submission in the Environment & Sustainability category.

Congrats to Ti ZhouImran Qazi (pictured) and all our software development team on the EEA Dashboard, viewable via this link.
