Spatial Vision takes out national APSEA Award

The APSEA Awards are a highlight of the Locate 23 Geospatial Event and this year was no exception for Spatial Vision.

Congratulations to our Digital Cadastre Modernisation team (and partner organisations DTP, Reeds Consulting, DSM SOFT, Jacobs & Collier Geodetic Solutions) for winning the national award for Technical Excellence in what was a very strong field. The scale of work and expertise required to digitise and adjust 3.5 million Victorian land parcels cannot be understated.

Finalists in the various categories came from winners of the state APSEA Awards. Spatial Vision’s finalists also included the Climate Risk Webmap (Community Impact) and the Elster Creek Permeability Analysis (Innovation).

Held in Adelaide, the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) celebrate the achievements of top spatial information enterprises and individuals. Moreover, they showcase the finest projects and most significant performance of professionals that the Surveying and Spatial Industry has to offer. Projects and individuals attaining recognition at this premier event are deemed to be truly outstanding achievers and pre-eminent in their field.

Besides the APSEA Awards, Locate 23 showcased a range of cutting edge projects from the spatial industry. Spatial Vision was well represented by Georgina Race, Mandy Tyrer, Harmen Romeijn and David Pepin who all featured as guest speakers.

Well done to all winners and finalists whose projects all serve to further the spatial industry and make a positive difference.
