Spatial Vision Joins the Australian Water Partnership
Spatial Vision are proud to announce our partnership with the Australian Water Partnership (AWP).
The Australian Water Partnership is an international cooperation initiative helping developing countries in the Indo-Pacific region, and beyond, work towards the sustainable management of their water resources, actively supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (via AWP).
A precious and increasingly contentious resource, water is crucial to achieving positive outcomes in a variety of sectors. For over 20 years, Spatial Vision has been assisting clients to better manage their natural and built assets and respond to emergencies. To aid sustainable water management and use, the company has implemented strategies to help clients better harness information to make decisions, as well as tools to visualise surface and groundwater resources, datasets and databases for surface and groundwater, apps for public information and GIS platforms for decision support.
Some of our projects in this space include:
- ‘Our Water’ Platform, NSW Department of Primary Industries (Former)
- Likely Impact of Climate Change on Victorian Coastal Assets, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning
- Collaborative Australian Protected Areas Database (CAPAD), CRC for Spatial Information and the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency
- Preparation of National Marine Atlases, National Ocean Office
- Development of Web Mapping Based Application for an Australian Marine Spatial Information System, Geoscience Australia
