Danielle Cherubin Wins Young Professional of the Year Award
At the most recent Victorian Spatial Excellence Awards one of our staff, Danielle Cherubin won the Young Professional of the Year Award. Danielle was nominated by her peers for the award. Danielle was surprised and delighted on the night to win the award.
The awards are the spatial industry’s premier gala event where organisations and individuals are acknowledged for their outstanding contributions and achievements. Danielle joined Spatial Vision as part of the company’s Graduate Cadet Program in 2010. Since joining Spatial Vison, Danielle has become a key member of Spatial Vison’s GIS and analysis team exhibiting strong skills in breaking down complex processes into manageable ‘chunks’. She has used these skills to process large amounts of data in the analysis of climate impacts on natural assets of Victoria, along with many other geospatial analytical projects for clients.
A key focus of Danielle’s work in the past few years has been training. Danielle leads Spatial Vision’s external ArcGIS training projects by developing and delivering training courses to people that are just beginning in GIS as well as those of greater competency who wish to enhance their skills. Her knowledgeable, engaging and patient delivery ensures that she receives consistently high levels of feedback from course participants.
Danielle has also been instrumental in the development of mapping templates and automated processes that underpin Spatial Vision’s multi-award winning CheckSite reports.
Danielle has grown in her role with SV to embrace the many challenges that are sent her way and we are very proud that her achievements have been recognised. Congratulations Danielle.
