About Spatial Vision
Spatial Vision was founded in 1999 to work alongside like-minded organisations and government departments to solve their spatial, social and environmental challenges. We’re guided by our passion and curiosity for what’s possible with geospatial and information technology, and work closely with our clients to understand their problems and find intelligent, engaging solutions. Spatial Vision is a 40 person company based in central Melbourne.
This opportunity has been created to help the company develop a career pathway/framework for our professional staff. The framework has been partially developed and we are looking for a person to help complete its development over the balance of this year. The role we have in mind will be collaborative, working with the company’s management team to develop the criteria, characteristics and behaviours for each of the seven broad types of roles we have defined within the organisation.
The new role would be well suited to someone seeking to obtain practical HR experience in a medium enterprise. We estimate approximately one day per week would be required. Hours are flexible and would be negotiated with the successful candidate.
We are looking for someone who has initiative, high quality verbal and written communication skills, and has completed a significant number of HR subjects as part of their studies. Importantly they will need to be able to assimilate the nature and characteristics of the work roles in our organisation. Some exposure to IT and related technologies would be ideal but not essential.
